Teltonika ATM700
The ATM700 carries its own power - a rechargeable 1000 mAh battery you top up over USB Type-C - so it goes on things that have no electrical system at all: trailers, containers, generators, tool chests, machinery. 4G LTE Cat M1, with GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou, in an IP65 housing.
Shipping
We ship within the USA (from Miami, FL) - typically 2-5 business days. Shipping is added at checkout.
What is in the box
- ATM700 device (with an LTE SIM already installed). No charging cable - any USB-C phone cable works
- Sticker with IMEI and QR code
- Warranty card (24 months)
Setting it up
- Charge it fully. Over USB Type-C, with any phone charger. It ships part-charged, and starting full means you know where the first interval begins.
- Switch it on outdoors and check it. Take it outside, switch it on and give it a few minutes to find the satellites and join the network. Confirm it on the map before you go any further - it is far easier to sort out now than after it is mounted.
- Then mount it. Somewhere out of sight with a clear view upward: under a plastic or fibreglass cover, high on a trailer frame, inside a non-metal lid. Deep inside a steel container or under a metal lid it will struggle to see the sky.
- Add it and log in. Open your dashboard, press Add device and type the IMEI from the sticker. The asset appears on the map as soon as the device reports.
What you get
- Live location, movement history and route replay for anything you put it on
- Alerts for geofences and towing - so a trailer or a container leaving the yard tells you
- Reporting that follows movement rather than the clock, so a parked asset spends its battery on nothing
Troubleshooting
It does not show up on the map
Give it a few minutes on first power-up, outdoors and away from metal. Deep inside a steel container or under a metal lid it may never see enough sky - that is the usual cause. If it is in the open and still missing, write to us and we will tell you whether it has reached our server.
How long does the battery last?
That depends entirely on how often it reports, and we set that before it ships - the more frequent the reporting, the shorter the run between charges. Tell us how the asset is used and we will pick the profile; if your needs change later, write to us with the IMEI and we will change it over the air.
What can I put it on?
Anything without power of its own: a bag or a case you carry, trailers, containers, generators, tool chests, plant and machinery. Carried rather than fitted is a normal use - it runs on its own battery and needs nothing from the thing it is on. If you are giving it to somebody else to carry, tell them: tracking a person who has not agreed to it is against the law in most places, and it is not what we sell it for. It has no connection to a vehicle, so it reports no engine data and cannot tell whether an engine is running.
