Warranty & Shipping
Transparent terms, no hidden fine print. Below is everything you need to know before ordering a device and subscription.
Device warranty
Who gives this warranty. 1PROPERTY GROUP LLC gives you this limited warranty on every tracker we sell. It is our own promise, not the manufacturer's, so you deal with us rather than with a factory in another country.
What it covers, and for how long. The tracker is covered for 24 months against defects in materials and workmanship, counted from the day it is delivered to you. A rechargeable battery, on the models that have one, is covered for 6 months - batteries wear with use, and this is what the manufacturer stands behind. Cables, mounts and other accessories are covered only if they arrive faulty.
Your subscription has nothing to do with it. This warranty is not conditioned on keeping an active SimpleGPS subscription, on using our SIM, or on who installed the device. If you cancel the service, the hardware warranty still runs.
The SIM, and the device, when you leave. The SIM stays with you - there is nothing to send back and nothing withheld for it - but we switch it off permanently when your subscription ends, and it cannot be reactivated afterwards, with us or with anyone else. The tracker itself is yours to keep. We put no configuration lock on it, so it can be set up for another service; that takes physical access and Teltonika's own configurator, since the SIM we supplied will no longer carry commands.
Your other rights are untouched. This is a Limited Warranty. We do not disclaim the implied warranties that come with the sale; they last as long as this written warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Discreet packaging
GPS trackers are often used as anti-theft protection, so every shipment goes out in plain packaging with no labels, logos or content hints. Only the recipient address and name are printed outside.
Returns (14 days)
You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to tell us you are returning it, for any reason, and 14 days after telling us to send it back. This is our policy and applies in addition to any rights you have under the law of your state. Conditions:
- Send the device back complete and in good, well-kept condition. You may try it and fit it as far as you need to see how it works; if it comes back damaged or worn beyond that, we deduct the loss in its value
- You keep the SIM - there is nothing to send back and nothing withheld for it
- The subscription is refunded for every unused full month
- You pay to send it back (unless it is defective - then we do), and we refund what you paid for delivery to you
- We refund what you actually paid, sales tax included, to the card or account you paid with, within 14 days of receiving the returned shipment
Installation
It depends on the model, and the difference matters. OBD devices plug in and are designed to be fitted by the owner. Hardwired devices - the FMC130 among them - are not: they are wired into the vehicle and belong with a qualified auto electrician. We are not responsible for damage to a vehicle, or for a device that does not work, because a hardwired unit was fitted by someone unqualified.
For a hardwired unit, use an auto-electric shop you trust. What they charge varies by shop and by vehicle, so ask before booking - we do not quote it. We hand over a fully configured device and a clear installer guide for the technician.
