This Privacy Policy explains how MILEV3D LLC ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal information when you use SimpleGPS at https://simple-gps.com. We are based in the United States. This policy is designed to comply with applicable U.S. privacy laws, including, for California residents, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA.
1. Who we are

For personal information inside a customer Workspace (e.g. a driver's name attached to a vehicle), the customer is responsible for that data and we process it on their behalf - see our Data Processing Addendum.
2. What we collect
- Account data: name, work email, password (hashed), company name.
- Billing data: plan, subscription status (card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us).
- Usage data: log entries, IP address, device/browser information.

3. How we use it
- To provide, secure and support the Service.
- To bill and prevent fraud.
- To improve the product via aggregated analytics.
- To send service and, where you opt in, marketing communications.
- To meet legal obligations.
4. Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service (hosting, email, analytics, payments), bound by confidentiality and data-protection terms. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. We may disclose information where required by law.
5. Where data is processed
Some of our infrastructure providers process data in the European Union. Where information is transferred internationally, we use appropriate contractual and technical safeguards for that transfer.
6. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal requirements, then delete or de-identify it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, to access a copy of it, to request correction or deletion, and to opt out of any sale or sharing (we do not sell or share). California residents may exercise these rights and will not receive discriminatory treatment for doing so. 8. Children
The Service is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, per-tenant database isolation, access controls and other measures appropriate to the risk.
