FTC880 has only 2 wires with ready fork / spade terminals. Screw red onto the + terminal of the battery, black onto - (or to a chassis ground). That is all.

SIM, APN and server are pre-configured. No settings to flip after install - the device registers with the platform the moment it has power.

Steps

Open the battery cover in the engine bay (or wherever the battery sits on the motorcycle / boat).
Connect the red wire to the + terminal of the battery - slide the fork terminal under the terminal bolt and tighten with a wrench.
Connect the black wire to the - terminal of the battery or to a chassis ground. Same drill - fork terminal under the bolt, tighten.
Place the FTC880 in a dry spot in the cabin or engine bay (it is IP69K, but avoid standing water).
Wait 30-60 seconds and open https://simplegps.bg - the device should appear online.

Verify - LED indicators

Two LEDs show the status. Pop the cover to see them (Quick Manual page 6).

Navigate LED (blue)

Blinking = searching / GPS fix. Solid = valid position.

Status LED (white)

Blinking = device alive and talking to the network.

!

Do not

Do not open the case unless necessary - it voids the IP69K rating.
Do not reverse polarity (red on -, black on +) - that can damage the device. Always red on the + terminal.
Do not run the wires loose near moving / hot parts (fans, exhaust).
